The Suite 9 / Bay Clinical Specialists story
Suite 9 was established by a group of local clinicians and began offering private medical and surgical specialist clinics in 2007. The majority of our clinicians offer their expertise both through Bay Clinical Specialists and for the Public Sector through the Health NZ Te Whatu Ora, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty service. Our clinicians cover different medical specialties, including: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Breast and General Surgery, Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery. We began operating under the name Bay Clinical Specialists in 2024 as we outgrew Suite 9 and expanded into Suite 8 next door.

Bay Clinical Specialists is not an emergency facility and none of its clinics or clinicians offer acute care. If you need urgent medical attention please dial 111, contact your General Practitioner, the nearest Accident and Medical Clinic or attend the local Public Hospital Emergency Department.
